Many families are struggling to support an adult child with launching into adulthood. Work is done with the family as a whole to achieve this transition.
Alcohol and drug abuse left unchecked can destroy a family. Intervention and treatment are often necessary to break the cycle.
Wrought with depression and anxiety, it often seems impossible for life to be exciting again. In resolving current and past emotional pain, often a new meaning and purpose can be discovered.

Experience
I became licensed as Chemical Dependency Counselor in 1997 and a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2001. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of capacities including therapist, Clinical Director, Chief Clinical Officer, and Executive Director. Facilities of work included Vernon State Hospital, Lubbock State School, Lubbock MHMR, Southwest Institute for Addictive Diseases, John T. Montford Psychiatric Unit, DePaul Center, Starlite Recovery Center, Creekview Counseling, and Arbor Behavioral Healthcare. Much of my career has been focused on creating more effective methods for treating persons struggling with addiction and mental health issues. I also have extensive history in working with families challenged by developmental, relational, addiction, and mental health issues.
